Marvel fans have a new series to binge watch, as Wonder Man was released for streaming earlier today. So far, the reaction from fans has been mostly positive about the story, but aside from the excellent story and character portrayal that the series has to offer, the filming locations are yet another highlight for the show.

Although the filming locations were not released publicly while production was ongoing due to safety and privacy reasons, several locations have come out in public afterwards, and they are easily accessible spots that fans can visit.

While the cast and crew were mostly secretive about the filming locations, there were some cryptic hints that were dropped even during film, such as this post by Daniel Cretton, the director of the show.

Moreover, fans also appreciated spotting and identifying several real-life locations that they could visit, also highlighting that the show does not over polish Hollywood, keeping both the grit and the glamour intact.


What is the story of Marvel's latest show, Wonder Man?

Marvel's Wonder Man follows the story of Simon Williams, who is a struggling actor navigating both success and failure, when he ends up with unexpected superpowers. The character is played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen, and the show also features other prominent actors like Ben Kingsley playing the character of Trevor Slattery.

The official logline for the show reads as follows:

"Hollywood actor Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen) is thrust into the world of superheroes as he gets powers of his own, and becomes the new Superhero Wonder Man."

Spanning a total of eight episodes, the series commenced filming back in early April 2023, and most of the major portions of filming wrapped up as early as April 2024.

Now, after all eight episodes dropped for streaming together on January 27, 2026, fans have had a mostly positive reaction towards the show, with special highlights on the filming locations.
