Yes, Rue dies in Euphoria Season 3 finale following a fentanyl overdose. After she received help from Alamo in escaping from Laurie's trap, Rue was also praised and awarded with money. However, the moment Alamo gave her Percocet pills, she knew he wanted her to continue being dependent on him.

Little did Rue know that Alamo had already planned her end. While she was at Ali's apartment, Rue had visions of her mother. She saw herself reuniting with her and finding happiness.

Not only this, but Rue also learned that Fez was out of prison, so she wanted to find him. The last episode featured the late Angus Cloud through memories of Rue, making her farewell even more painful. Before Ali could return home, Rue was dead. 1) Alamo

Alamo was the kingpin in Season 3 and also the main villain who trapped Rue in his deadly world. He always doubted Rue and even put her life at risk when his doubts intensified.

And even when Rue got the stolen items back from Laurie's place, Alamo did not trust her. He was the one who gave Rue those pills that caused her death. These events left a big impact on Ali, and he decided that people like Alamo must face the consequences of their actions.

As a result, Ali takes his gun out and goes to Alamo's club. There, he confronts his men and thanks Bishop, who unexpectedly betrayed Alamo by taking bullets out of his boss' gun.
