Something Very Bad is Going to Happen follows the lives of a young couple, Nicky and Rachel, who are set to marry each other. Who is Rachel's mother in Something Very Bad is Going to Happen?

Alexandra is Rachel's mother and is played by Victoria Pedretti. Alexandra died a tragic death the day she got married. Turns out, Jay, her husband, wasn't her soulmate, and as per the curse, she bled to death. Rachel was aware that her mother had died while she was a baby; however, she didn't know the whole truth.

What happened to Alexandra in Something Very Bad is Going to Happen?

When the VHS footage starts rolling, the viewers are transported back to 1997, where we see Rachel's parents, Alexandra and Jay, driving to an isolated snowy countryside. After an eerie encounter with a custard shop owner, they move into their new house. Alexandra was pregnant at that time, and they had dreams of building a life together.

Although Alexandra did have some premonition that marriage might not end well for the couple, Jay brushed it off. However, her darkest dreams came true on the day of their wedding. After they got married, Alexandra began to bleed from her nose. Jay took her to a cabin and tried calling 911. The curse turned out to be true; Jay didn't love Alexandra enough, and he wasn't her soulmate.

Alexandra's condition started to worsen; she profusely bled from her eyes and nose, and Jay panicked. He cut through Alexandra's belly to save their daughter, Rachel. He repeatedly apologized to Alexandra. Back to the present, Rachel is left in absolute shock, and Jay tries to make her understand that it's not his fault. Jay warns her that if she marries Nicky, she will die. Jules interrupts and breaks into the cabin with a gun. He asks Rachel to leave and addresses Jay as the 'Sorry Man'.

Rachel tells him that Jay is her father and asks him to back off, but Jules is in no mood to listen to her. He asks her to run away. Turns out, when Jules was young, he ran away from home and found shelter in a cabin. He hid beneath the bed, and it was right there where Rachel's parents came after their wedding.

Jules watched Alexandra die as Jay cut her belly open to save Rachel. He heard him apologize to her repeatedly (the Sorry Man lore). Since that day, Jules believed it was the Sorry Man, aka Jay, who killed Alexandra. He was not aware of the Harkins' family curse, although Alexandra looked right in his eyes and told him to warn her daughter about it.
