Kate O’Flynn’s Patricia becomes a crucial part in Widow’s Bay Episode 8 after she has to go through a dangerous journey to protect herself from the Boogeyman. At the beginning of the episode, Patricia finds that Boogeyman has arrived at her house. He starts to chase her right away.
She tries her best to get help from some of the residents. However, all of them are asleep. Eventually, Patricia manages to protect herself by setting the Boogeyman on fire. Patricia also understands that the curse on the island is still very much present.
The manner in which Patricia shows her bravery to fight against Boogeyman and not just accept her death leaves an impact. It can be understood that she will be taking a significant part in the upcoming episodes of the series. 2) Airon Armstrong as Boogeyman

Though Boogeyman comes across Kris’s house while Patricia tries to ask her for help, instead of attacking Kris, Boogeyman only focuses on Patricia throughout this episode.

Wyck’s distinct paranoid nature makes him realise that their problems are far from being solved.
After Patricia kills Boogeyman, Wyck goes to Tom’s house to inform him that the curse is still active, setting the stage for further complications. Stephen Root’s performance in Widow’s Bay Episode 8 is rooted in realism, leaving a lasting impact on the viewers.

5) Matthew Rhys as Tom Loftis

At the beginning of Widow’s Bay Episode 8, Matthew Rhys’ Tom Loftis was extremely happy to have ended the curse by killing Richard. However, by the end of this episode, with Patricia fighting the Boogeyman, it was already established that the curse is still prevalent.
At the end of this episode, Wyck arrives at his house to inform Tom of the situation, which completely baffles him. Matthew Rhys’ Tom Loftis is not the primary focus in this episode of the series.
However, even through the limited screen time, he steals the attention of the viewers by depicting the grim situation that they are going to face in the upcoming episodes. Some of the other projects of Matthew Rhys are The Wingfeather Saga, Towards Zero, etc.
