Netflix's action K-drama Bloodhounds has returned with more brutal fights and a deadlier threat. The latest chapter sees Geon-woo, Woo-jin, and their friends fight Baek-jeong, the leader of IKFC, an illegal boxing league. While Geon-woo does not want to engage with the illegal league, Baek-jeong tries every tactic to force him to fight in the league.

While they did fight, it also resulted in Baek-jeong's arrest at the end. However, that was not the end of the character's fate, as he was handed over to NIS for investigation into an illegal drug business. Furthermore, several other questions were left unanswered, making fans wait for another Season. However, Season 3 of Bloodhounds has not been officially announced by Netflix yet.

More on this in our story.

Will Bloodhounds Season 3 happen? Possibilities explored

Bloodhounds Season 2 premiered on April 3, 2026, and brings back Geon-woo and Woo-jin as they take down another fierce enemy. It begins after Geon-woo wins the championship by beating Baek-jeong's man, Adik. Baek-jeong tries to hire him for IKFC's next championship tournament and offers a lot of money, but Geon-woo refuses to join.

This results in the start of the chaos in Geon-woo and Woo-jin's lives. First, he tries to kidnap their mother to blackmail Geon-woo into fighting, and later, he begins harming everyone closer to them, such as Min-beom and Kang-yong. However, by hurting people around Geon-woo, Baek-jeong also brings problems for himself, as in the end, he didn't just lose to Geon-woo but was also arrested.

However, the finale of Bloodhounds Season 2 teased several other details that left viewers anticipating a Season 3 of the Netflix action K-drama. However, Netflix or any of the production companies, such as Studio N, have not announced another Season for the K-drama.

Not just a Season 3, the finale of Bloodhounds Season 2 also hints that this universe might even expand when Park Seo-joon joins the series in a cameo role as an NIS agent Sin-hyeong. He is the one who kidnaps Baek-jeong at the end and takes him to interrogate about the meth smuggling from Thailand to South Korea, which might be next Season's plot or perhaps a spin-off.

Furthermore, the fate of Du-Yeong, Mr. Choi's knifer, who returned to redeem for what he did last season, and help Geon-woo and Woo-jin. However, he was severely injured, but his fate is not revealed at the end, meaning he might be back in Season 3.

However, the most crucial detail was the mystery man who appeared in the end credits of the Season 2 final episode. It is a man returning from the military, who goes to the morgue to see Sergeant Yoon Tae-gum's body. It is implied that he might be related to Sergeant Yoon. The end credits suggest that Season 3 might happen, but it doesn't reveal whether this character will be against Geon-woo and Woo-jin, as Tae-gum died while helping the duo, or will be one of their allies.
