"Will make your day easier": Stephen Colbert makes a pitch for 'The Late Show' crew at the Emmys

Stephen Colbert won the Emmys in the Outstanding Variety Series category for The Late Show. This is his thirteenth Emmy Award, adding another big win to his long career in television and late-night comedy. The other nominees in the category include The Daily Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, and Saturday Night Live.

He added that these young people are an important part of the future of the business and need to be looked after.

Pitching for his crew on the Emmys stage to Hollywood, he said that he had some good news for anyone looking to hire them. He then pointed out that they are all available for new work and encouraged the executives in the room to hire them, adding that they would make their shows better and their workdays easier.
