We finally have our first look at American Horror Story Season 13 and fans of the show are going absolutely crazy over it. Ryan Murphy has dropped exclusive set photos from the new season, and from what we can see, Jessica Lange is back in the game!

Jessica Lange is one of the most loved and important characters from the franchise. She played Constance Langdon in the original American Horror Story: Murder House season, then came back as Sister Jude Martin in American Horror Story: Asylum, then absolutely crushed it as Fiona Goode in American Horror Story: Coven and Elsa Mars in American Horror Story: Freak Show. With four iconic seasons across the franchise, she returned for a guest appearance in Season 8 and for Season 13, she's back again.

What makes her return even more surprising is that she talked about not wanting to come back last year in a conversation with SPIN 1038. Speaking to the outlet she stated,

“Oh Christ, no. I mean, I haven’t done it for more than 10 years, 12 years, so, no, I’m not doing it.”

However, not much can be gathered from the photos shared. We don't yet know if she will be returning as an existing character or if Murphy has written an entirely new role for her. Either way, we're glad to have her back and it will be exciting to see what she brings this season.

American Horror Story Season 13 is shaping up to be a massive deal and although not much is known about the season for now, it's an exciting return for one of the most iconic TV shows of all time.

The cast is absolutely stacked as Ryan Murphy has got the band back together. Among those confirmed are Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman. Then there's Ariana Grande making her debut in the franchise, reuniting with Murphy for the first time since Scream Queens in 2015.

The release date is expected to be October 2026, which keeps with AHS's tradition of fall premieres on FX. Filming has started, as per Murphy's update so hopefully we get the show as early as possible.

As of now, fans have a few guesses about what the plot might be about although nothing is confirmed. More updates on the season are awaited for now.
