Have you all heard the term poking the bear? Well, this time it went way too far. Have people forgotten what Leslie is capable of? I couldn’t believe Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) and Dani (Karla Mosley) deliberately provoked Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) on the 17th. What were you thinking? One too many mimosas at the bar? This was a colossal mistake and I’m all for the repercusssions and fall out that this will have coming for Fairmont Crest.

It’s clear that everyone has forgotten that Leslie was the woman who rolled into town quite prepared to kill someone so that her daughter could get a job and be ideally placed to help her scheme. A woman who was prepared to, in disguise as a nurse, go the hospital that Laura was convalesing in and try to finish the job. To give her a potassium overdose and give the girl a heart attack. That Leslie. Have we become too comfortable being comfortable?

Scene Of The Week

If anything was going to send Leslie around the bend and give her motivation to return to her dark ways that was it. The scene of the week was Leslie telling off Shanice and Dani before she left for home, and it transitioned into the Leslie we fear. I’m telling you, if Mann-Grant is not in the conversation for a Daytime Emmy, it will be miscarriage of justice. It’s about time that Leslie reminded people who they are dealing with and who they are messing with. It’s time.

Bring the noise Leslie and lay waste to those that wronged you. I’m sorry Shanice, I like you, but that was too much and you can hold your own when it comes to a verbal battle with her, but you are not equipped to deal with the kind of chaos and mayhem that leslie will bring to your door. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

Even if you are the recipient of “Quote of the week” lol

Shanice to Leslie, “ …and no, that would be the end of you, Wiggy!”

See you next week, Gates fans.
