Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Thursday, February 19th
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates
Tomas is going to be the one that saves Bill’s life if he can just get to the part where he realizes what’s going on. If he lives long enough that is. Tomas is building a picture of something real shady going on but he just can’t see the whole canvas yet. Today we saw him having a client meeting with Lynette over coffee and Lynette was pushing hard for having all of her charges dropped, and fast. Tomas made a point of offering a plea deal and a good one with zero jail time, and the possibility of it being even better. Lynette shut him down and threatened to have Bill involved, that should have been a heck of a red flag, Bill would have presented the very same offer, and it would be taking the exact same amount of time.
The best part happened when Lynette had to take a call from Randy, and while Randy told her to get her ass to Uptown ASAP, Lynette played it off as one of her girlfriends calling for a chat. Tomas made a point of telling Lynette that in future to go through him and not Hayley to get documents delivered. I hope Randy heard that part, but when Lynette spoke to Tomas, she said that Hayley brought them to her; she didn't ask Hayley to. That was not at all what Hayley said to Bill, Caroline, or Tomas. Three different stories, and none of them are the same. Keep pulling the threads, Tomas! Hayley will unravel.
