Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Friday, March 6th:
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates
As promised, this week delivered some tense moments, and the tension is mounting with every move Jacob makes. When Ren told Jacob he was to fill in for one of the couriers and had to make a pickup at Garkand Memorial Hospital, that was a clue we all knew was coming. For weeks now, we have had our suspicions about who was involved and that the hospital would be front and center for the action. Jacob’s meeting with Ashley's boyfriend, Grayson, rocked Jacob.
The scene was set, and Jacob walked into the elevator in disguise. The courier walked in, pressed the 3 button, then stepped back and set the case of plasma on the floor, and Jacob bent down to retrieve it. All he had to do next was keep his head down or turn his back when the doors opened, and everything would have been ok, but Jacob needed to ID the courier. The surprise on Jacob's face mirrored the absolute confusion on Grayson's. The spoilers for next week show Jacob calling Grayons and telling him they have to meet, and that he’s not to talk to anyone about what he saw until they do. Will Grayson keep Jacobs' secret? Or will self-preservation kick in, for himself and his mom?
