Bill Hamilton still isn't out of the woods on Beyond the Gates, as spoilers for the week of Monday, August 17, 2026, through Friday, August 21, 2026, have him still in the hospital where he'll receive a tough talking to from his former father-in-law, Vernon! Also, tons of drama is ahead for other members of the Dupree family, and their friends and foes.
Fathers and Sons
Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) is not the type of father who's going to sit by and watch his loved ones, especially his children, get hurt. As the week begins, watch for Vernon to confront Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) about his intentions with Dani (Karla Mosley).
It's been clear that there's still a great deal of pull between Bill and Dani, who are long divorced. Bill's moved on to a life with Hayley (Marquita Goings), and Bill's oblivious to the fact that his wife wants him out of the picture -- permanently!
If Bill thinks that Vernon isn't going to call him out on his lingering feelings for Dani, well, he may just have another thing coming! Watch for Bill to flit with disaster later in the week, which could make his predicament even worse!
