Beyond the Gates Spoilers, February 19th: Anita collapses, Elon schools Jacob, and one couple has to live apart

What to Expect on Beyond the Gates

We saw a preview of this in the Next Week Sneak Peek video, and it appears that Anita (Tamara Tunie) might be pushing herself a little too hard. In Thursday’s episode, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) ruins Anita’s lunch, which pushes Anita's health issues out into the open. Leslie might be lashing out after the humiliating experience at Uptown on Valentine’s day. Firing in all directions, especially at the Duprees is certainly her style when enraged and Leslie sure was that. Having Anita collapse in a public space like the Fairmomt Crest Country Clubs dining room sure will have the chins wagging.

Undercover And Needing Cover

In Thursday’s episode, some truths are told and Elon (Malachi Malik) schools Jacob (Jibre Hordges) on the brutal realities of going deep undercover. Jacob is going to need to distance hiomself from all he holds dear, because if he’s blown, then all the people he loves will be directly in the firing line, and that’s a detail that I think Jacob just didn’ttake into account. Having his father expl,ain all this is going to have him worried, but not enough to pull out, Jacob will go deeper, but he must protect those he loves, especially Naomi (Arielle Prepetit).

Good Surprises and Bad Surprises

Hayley (Marquita Goings) managed to fool Naomi after Lynette (Dominique Madison) punched her in the face. Naomi softened her attitude towards Hayley, and in Thursday’s episode, Naomi surprises Hayley while Lynette deals with two tense confrontations. Lynette wants what she wants and will blackmail Hayley and Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) to get it, but she'd better play a smarter game than Randy and Hayley are, or all of this falls down like a house of cards. Randy has the tough job of having to do what Joey asks, without blowing his and Hayleys game up, and enter the wild card - Lynette.

Together Forever, Just Not Right Now

Jacob has to make the hard decision to protect his wife, and he can only think of one way to do that, but will Naomi understand? Will Jacob explain it properly? In Thursday’s episode, one couple chooses to live apart. Although if they can get through the year they have just had, then this should be a breeze lol.
