What to Expect on Beyond the Gates

After ignoring Joey’s advice, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) plans a dinner and wants to introduce Deanna (Angela Fairley) to Joey (Jon Lindstrom). This goes awfully, which was pretty much expected, and in Thursday’s episode, Vanessa is publicly humiliated. Deanna knows that Vanessa must have done more than just be a business partner to Joey, to have him spend as much as he has and dedicate the free clinic to her dead husband, she just doesnt know how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Like mother like daughter?

In Thursday’s episode, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) is proud of Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant). Hopefully this doesnt mean a return to the ways that got Eva in so much trouble when she first arrived in Fairmont Crest. But any moves she makes at the expense of Kat Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon), I am here for!

That must have been a lot for Donnell (Alex Cheeks) to take, hearing his sister go off at their mother like that. In Thursday's episode, Donnell clashes with his twin sister.

Kat has moved in with Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis), surprise surprise. After the meltdown with Chelsea and then making up with her, we almost expected Kat to return to the status quo and stay where she was with Chelsea at their design studio. Maybe living with the overly happy couple still wasn’t attractive to her.
