Beyond the Gates may be welcoming one familiar face to the show's cast while saying farewell to a recent addition to the program. Greg Vaughan may be checking out as Dr. Kial Rollins, and former All My Children star Colin Egglesfield, who played Joshua, may be checking in! In the comments section, Vaughan continued, "Thank you to everyone who's been part of my journey. Family. Friends. Fans. Colleagues. Your encouragement has meant more than you know. Here's to the next chapter." While Vaughan hasn't come right out and said that he's checking out as Kial on BTG, he's literally referring to the "next chapter." Since his debut on the CBS soap last December, Vaughan's Kial has been seen sporadically as the doctor's relationship with Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) has developed. Kial's a widower, and Nicole is a divorcee. If Vaughan is indeed leaving the show, will BTG wrap up the romance between Nicole and Kial? Maybe not. He shared a post on his IG account in early June that showed him traveling on a plane. Could he have been flying to Atlanta to begin taping a role on BTG?Is this casting speculation even more related than it seems? Might Egglesfield be stepping into Vaughan's role as Kial? He is following Vaughan's co-star, Duplaix, on Instagram. Or is she now Egglesfield's co-star? BTG tapes approximately four months ahead of air shows, so it's possible we won't be seeing Egglesfield on-camera for a few months. Eggelsfield has some upcoming projects, including Unlawful Attraction (which he's also set to produce), Puckheads, Halloween at Aunt's Cottage, and Mick Skylark: Mini Golf Prodigy.The actor's role on AMC made headlines when it was revealed that Joshua Madden's mother was Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). It turned out that the groundbreaking "abortion" that Erica had had was rewritten. The embryo was removed from her body and placed in another woman, the wife of Greg Madden (Ian Buchanan). If Vaughan is leaving BTG, there's always the chance he could pop back up on either General Hospital as Lucky Spencer or as Eric Brady on Days of our Lives.
