Now that The Young and the Restless' Holden and Claire have reconnected in New York City, how long will it last this time around? The last time we saw sparks fly between them was during their first trip to Los Angeles last fall. Will they be able to keep the flame burning this time, or will it fizzle out before summer is over?
Claire the snoop on The Young and the Restless

Obviously, Claire (Hayley Erin) is still obsessing over Holden's (Nathan Owens) L.A. secret, from the way she was eyeing his suitcase. She couldn't resist looking inside it, but the only interesting thing she found was a photo of Holden when he was a little boy.
Claire ended things with Holden the first time because she couldn't fully trust him, and apparently, she still doesn't trust him. She still doesn't believe he told her everything that happened in L.A., and he hasn't. If she ever finds out that Holden accidentally killed the art gallery owner and buried his body in an unmarked grave, will she want to continue seeing him? Or will that be the final nail in the coffin of their relationship?
Claire said she doesn't love Kyle anymore

Claire admitted to Holden that she doesn't love Kyle (Michael Mealor) anymore. Hopefully, this means she won't be sending him any more mixed signals, like she did when she kissed him last Thanksgiving. Or during the Christmas holiday, when he finally told her he wasn't waiting around for her anymore, and she looked at him like she was genuinely shocked and disappointed. But considering that Claire has been trying to find herself since last year, we wouldn't be surprised if she finds herself in love with Kyle again in another year or so.
Claire comes across as fickle and can never make up her mind about who or what she really wants. Less than a year ago, she was so in love with Kyle that she was laser-focused on persuading her grandfather, Victor (Eric Braeden), to accept their relationship. She absolutely had to have his blessing and was relentless about it. She was excited about the prospect of moving in with Kyle. She even went so far as to cut off ties with Victor after he made disparaging remarks about him. After some time had passed, Victor apologized to her and finally gave her and Kyle his blessing -- which was a shocking move on Victor's part. Now, less than a year later, Claire is totally over Kyle and she says she only likes him "sometimes."
We can't help but feel a little badly for Kyle. When he was with Jack (Peter Bergman) at Crimson Lights, and they ran into Victoria (Amelia Heinle), he seemed even more frustrated with Victor's evil doings than he usually is. Maybe some of Kyle's frustration is also due to the fact that he hasn't had a woman in his life since Claire dumped him last year. Some Y&R fans wanted him to get together with Audra (Zuleyka Silver), but those two drive each other crazy. Summer (Allison Lanier) is in Milan and has a new boyfriend. So Kyle has hit a dry patch in the romance department.
Is this thing with Holden just physical for Claire?

Like Claire herself said in Thursday's Y&R episode, time will tell where this relationship with Holden is headed. It's hard to tell whether her pull toward him is mostly due to a physical attraction or a deeper connection. Is she starting to have genuine feelings for him? She's had trust issues with him for months now, and it feels like that's always going to get in their way. Once she finds out what really happened in L.A. between him, Audra, and the gallery owner, will that put an end to whatever she has going on with him right now?
If his mother, Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox), finds out what he did, she's going to be in for a shock as well. She views Holden as her wonderful son, and she probably can't imagine that he would ever kill someone (albeit accidentally) and cover the whole thing up. She dislikes Audra, but she isn't aware that Audra and Holden have been keeping a very dark secret. Can someone please find out about this dragged-out secret so that this part of Holden's storyline can finally be out in the open and get resolved, once and for all?
We're on the fence about whether or not Holden and Claire still have the same chemistry they had in Los Angeles last year. Do you think Holden and Claire will be a long-lasting couple, or will they fizzle out as they did after their first L.A. trip? Tell us your opinions, Y&R fans!
