"I want to live there!": The Young and the Restless fans react to Genoa City's Christmas decorations

The Young and the Restless sets are featuring some festive Christmas decorations, and fans are excited to see them. Crimson Lights and Society are glimmering with warm, cheerful, inviting decorations that are drawing the fans in. The Newman and Abbott homes feel warm and cozy, and fans are loving it.

First off, we want to take a moment to express our love and appreciation for the breathtaking opening shots we've been seeing on The Young and the Restless. The camera slowly pans over a snow-covered Genoa City, complete with snow-powdered trees, a frozen pond, and buildings towering in the background. If you look closely, you can even spot Jabot! It truly feels like a winter wonderland.

"Love Genoa City in the winter Christmas season," one Facebook fan said. "There is something magical about it."

"I'd love to visit Genoa City during the holidays," another user commented.

"Gorgeous! I want to live there!" another fan gushed.

"There's nothing like a Genoa City Christmas," still another user praised.

Society looks even better than usual, courtesy of the beautiful wreaths and illuminated Christmas trees. Fans are loving the decor.

"I love Society's decorations!" one user said.

"I liked the silver tree with pink ornaments at Society the last couple of years, too," another fan remarked.

"I've always loved the Society set at Christmas!" still another user exclaimed.

Crimson Lights looks gorgeous with the candy cane-striped vases on the tables, the Santa Claus bowl, and all the other festive knick-knacks scattered throughout the coffee house. Many Facebook fans commented on the Christmas mugs:

"I always look forward to seeing the Christmas mugs at Crimson Lights each year!" one fan said. "I'd love having a coffee house like this near me!"

"Y&R has the most beautiful Christmas mugs I've ever seen," another user noted.

"The famous Christmas mugs at Crimson Lights," another fan said.

"Always like when they start using the Christmas mugs at the coffee shop," yet another fan said.

"Does the coffee shop have the oversized Christmas mugs?" one fan asked. "They were so cool."

"Please leave it decorated until after New Year's," another user asked. "It's like a breath of fresh air!"

"So beautiful! I can smell all the coffees and goodies!" one fan remarked.

It's adorable that there's a toy drive at Crimson Lights on The Young and the Restless, where customers drop off stuffed animals for needy children. You can spot them in the background, by the door that opens up to the back patio.

"That big reindeer has been set out for decades," one observant Facebook user commented, adding a smiley-face covered with hearts.

"Love the big reindeer!" another fan cried.

"I love the fact that they still have an old jukebox at Crimson [Lights]," another fan said.

Some Facebook fans of Y&R have commented on the beauty of the newly decorated Abbott mansion:

"Every year I look for Jack's tree," one fan wrote.

"Always love the decorations at the Abbott house," another user said.

"I love all the sets and enjoy seeing how everyone decorated their homes," one fan remarked.

"I've always loved seeing the holiday decorations in the beautiful homes and apartments of Y&R," still another user said.

And last but not least, the decorated Newman ranch was a fan favorite with Facebook users as well:

"I hope there's a ginormous lump of coal in Victor's stocking!" one fan wrote.
