Lauralee Bell is sharing the latest casting news on The Young and the Restless. The actress is happily reporting that Tricia Cast, who plays Nina Webster, is returning to Genoa City! Cast-ing Call View this post on Instagram Instagram PostCast's Nina was last seen on Y&R in November 2025 when she came to town for Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket's (Lauralee Bell) wedding. The ceremony wouldn't have been complete without the couple's longtime friend. Y&R didn't just have the Daytime Emmy-winner back so that Nina could attend the gala event and raise her glass in a toast to her friends. Viewers wanted to see Nina confront Cane (Billy Flynn) for his indirect role in the killing of her son, Chance (Conner Floyd; now, Chad on Days of our Lives). Fans got their wish as both Nina and Amy (Valarie Pettiford) blasted Cane for not only Chance's death but also for Amy's son, Damian (Jermaine Rivers), dying. Both men perished at the hands of Carter (Vincent Stalba), Cane's aide, who bumped off Damian because of his blossoming romance with Lily (Christel Khalil), the woman Cane still loved. Then, Nina was widowed when her husband, Phillip (Thom Bierdz), the father of her second son, Phillip IV (AKA Chance), was killed in a car crash. (In reality, he faked his death so he could live openly as a gay man in Australia!). Nina stood trial for the attempted murder of David Kimble (Michael Corbett), a charming con man who tried to kill her for the millions she inherited. Nina's next husband, Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves), cheated on her, and then he was killed on the day he was going to get married again. Years later, Nina was reunited with her firstborn when Ronan returned to Genoa City as a lawman. There were some hurt feelings as Ronan couldn't understand, initially, why his mother wasn't there for him as a child, but the two later reconciled.
