The Young and the Restless is expanding Sally Spectra's family. Patrika Darbo is reprising her role as Shirley Spectra, Sally's grandmother, and Ashley Campbell is taking on the role of Coco, Sally's sister.

A rep for Y&R shares that Darbo is coming back to Genoa City. She last played the part of Shirley Spectra in 2021 in video calls with Sally. Campbell is taking over the role of Coco previously played by Courtney Grosbeck.
What could be bringing the two women to town? Well, Sally is both expecting a baby and getting married to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Perhaps the two women are coming to town to support Sally.
Coco was last mentioned recently when Sally left Genoa City to go to Los Angeles in order to take care of her sister when she had an operation. It went smoothly and Sally was back in Genoa City in short order.
The Spectra gang made their mark back in Los Angeles in the fashion world on The Bold and the Beautiful, where Hope originated the role of her namesake great aunt, Sally Spectra (played by the late, great Darlene Conley).
When Billy Met Sally
Sally struggled to keep Spectra alive when she and Shirley first brought it back. Alas, Sally almost lost her life when Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) detonated the building with Sally and Liam (Scott Clifton) still trapped inside.
Sally had a romance with Bill's other son, Wyatt (Darin Brooks). He dumped her twice, prompting Sally to take a drastic step and tie Wyatt's girlfriend Flo (Katrina Bowden) to a radiator. Fortunately, she wasn't there very long.

Sally decided to start her life over and move to Genoa City. She checked in with Spectra pal Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and began a new life. She entered a romance with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and also fell for his brother, Adam (Mark Grossman), before finding love with Billy.
Sally has stood by Billy numerous times while he's struggled to find his self-worth and identity. Currently, Billy is determined to win control of Chancellor Industries. He's also set to marry Sally and welcome their baby into the world. Will that happen? The arrival of Shirley and Coco hints that the wedding will take place. Whether vows will be exchanged and the union becomes legal or not is anyone's guess!
