Victor Newman takes no prisoners on The Young and the Restless! Well, except for the ones he holds in his basement dungeon! The man's unauthorized memoir is literally titled "Ruthless!" And while we applaud his taking down villains like Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise), we don't think it's right for him to be attacking Jabot, especially as Colleen (Tammin Sursok), Traci's (Beth Maitland) daughter, gave Victor her heart so he could live. There's his love for ex-wife, Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and other reasons, too. But Victor does what Victor does. What he wasn't counting on was Cane's (Billy Flynn) AI program to turn on its host! Now that that's happening, many are looking at Victor with a certain amount of Schadenfreude. What's Schadenfreude? It's a German word that's a combination of German words Schaden (which means "harm") and Freude (which means "joy"). What needs to happen in this story is for Traci Abbott, the heart and soul of Genoa City and Y&R, to sit all the players in this drama down, give them all a good talking to, and get them to see what's truly important in life! Though we have to say that Jack's (Peter Bergman) been taking the high road the most in all this! Victor has bullied folks for years. He's been, wait for it, quite ruthless! Now, he's getting a dose of his own medicine as Newman Enterprises is being attacked from within. Can he turn the tables on Cane and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford)? Stay tuned!
