Here are your spoilers for Thursday, April 2, 2026, on The Young and the Restless when Phyllis holds Lily accountable for her actions, Victoria defends Victor's actions, and Matt Clark closes in on Nick.
What's next on The Young and the Restless

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is running the show at Newman Enterprises these days. She's renamed it Summers Conglomorate, and while she did give Chancellor Industries back to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she's still riding high.
Cane (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis have shared a tumultuous relationship since his return to Genoa City. He may not always believe it, but Phyllis wants the best for him. That's why on Thursday's episode, the redhead is going to hold Lily (Christel Khalil) accountable for her actions. Cane has bent over backwards to show Lily he's changed. She responded by teaming up with Victor, and she pretended to be kidnapped. That hurt Cane deeply. Will Phyllis blast Lily for playing with Cane's feelings?
Daughter of the year

We've seen Vicki Newman (Amelia Heinle) defend Victor to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) over his actions, which included kidnapping Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). While Vicki has acknowledged that what her father did wasn't right, she's not holding him accountable for what Jack did that caused Diane (Susan Walters) to move out. That's on Jack, Vicki feels. At best, that's a rather stoic response.
On Thursday's episode, watch for Vicki to defend Victor's actions even further. Victor's lucky to have Vicki in his corner. Victor hasn't hesitated to tell Nikki to get lost because he demands nothing but total loyalty. He may have that in Victoria. But how far could Victor go before even his devoted daughter draws a line in the sand?
The Welcome Matt Clark

The rivalry that began between Matt (Roger Howarth) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) that began over 30 years ago is still going strong today. Matt's cheated death a few times along the way. Now, Nick is determined to vanquish his evil foe once and for all.
A few obstacles stand in Nick's way. For starters, he's not at the top of his game as he's dealing with a pill addiction after suffering an injury to his leg (thanks to Matt)! Nick's in an unfamiliar town (Las Vegas) and has only his brother Adam (Mark Grossman) for backup. Nick needs some more help!
Plus, Matt has the element of surprise. Nick hasn't been able to figure out where Matt is exactly. Nick insisted on not bringing an entourage with him to Vegas so that Matt wouldn't be scared off into hiding. That mistake might cost Nick in the long run.
