Billy's riding high, but he may not be for long once Victor has his way on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for the episode airing on Friday, August 21, 2026, have Victor putting a plan into motion to discredit Billy. Meanwhile, Sharon gets an update on Nick's condition, and Lily reaches out to Jack for help.
Victor, Victorious

Victor (Eric Braeden) might not have to do anything when it comes to Billy Abbbot (Jason Thompson), who has convinced himself that he is the rightful owner of the late Katherine Chancellor's (Jeanne Cooper) company, Chancellor Industries.
Billy has found a document that has revealed that Chancellor Industries is now owned by John Abbott's (Jerry Douglas) heirs because of an unpaid loan. Is Billy even looking for a canceled check that would send his dreams up in a puff of smoke? He might not be.
Billy tends to crash and burn on his own. But Victor's not going to wait for that to happen. On Friday's show, watch for him to put a plan into motion to discredit Billy. Will Victor put the kibosh on Billy's plan to run Chancellor Industries before it even gets off the ground?
The Nick of Time

Poor Sharon (Sharon Case). Her son, Noah (Lucas Adams), has gone back to Los Angeles, and Nick (Joshua Morrow), her ex, is in rehab, dealing with an opioid addiction, thanks to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) causing a car wreck that Nick was in. On Friday's show, watch for Sharon to get an update on Nick's condition.
Is he doing better? Or worse? Will the mysterious Marie (Jade Harlow), whose life was saved by Nick, be the one to give Sharon the update? Or Will Sharon learn of Nick's condition through medical personnel? Last year, Nick and Sharon shared a kiss in Nice, France. Were they on their way to getting back together? Could that still happen once Nick beats his addiction?
Sharon's unaware that Nick's made a new pal in Marie. She's a new dynamic in Nick's life that could stand as a barrier between Nick and his former life.
Cooler Heads

Jack (Peter Bergman) has represented himself as a potential ally to Lily (Christel Khalil) in this whole contractual issue about the Abbotts possibly owning Chancellor Industries. Lily has reached out to Jack, asking for a meeting.
Could this all be resolved with Lily cutting a check from Chancellor Industries to the Abbotts, hoping to settle the debt? Billy would not be happy if his big plans to take the reins of Chancellor Industries were curtailed. But Billy feels that running Chancellor Industries is his destiny. He's going to want that to happen, and he'd likely do his best to cancel any deal that Lily wants to work out with Jack.
