Looking Through the Eyes of Love
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) getting her vision back last week was just the beginning of her good news! This week, watch for Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki to reach an understanding about their future.
In the middle of the week, Victor and Nikki will reaffirm their love for one another. This isn't the first time they've pledged their love for one another. Their first epic wedding was in 1984 at the Colonnade Room. The couple's love theme, "Through the Eyes of Love," was played, adding to the romance of the day.
Victor and Nikki have been through a lot over the years since then. They've spent most of the last several months bickering over Jack Abbott and Matt Clark. Nikki's blindness helped show Victor what was truly important in life, however.
Now, Victor and Nikki have reached a new understanding. Victor actually apologized for his role in their recent marital strife, especially their conflict over Nikki supporting her pal, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Nikki's also not a fan of Matt Clark's (Roger Howarth) and Victor employing him, but as we saw in Friday's episode, that dynamic may be headed for a break as Matt is testing Victor's patience.
Victor and Nikki aren't the only couple looking at a new beginning. Watch for newlyweds Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket (Lauralee Bell) to share some time as Danny shares unexpected news with his wife.
Familiar Faces
Watch for Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to return home. She's been getting help for her mental health, and now, she may be ready to reintegrate into Genoa City society. Ironically, Mariah's return comes at a time when Devon (Bryton James) is going through a difficult time. By the end of the week, Mariah will meet Matt Clark. Might he be stunned by her resemblance to the late Cassie (Camryn Grimes), who was still with us when Matt was in Genoa City a little over 25 years ago?
Brothers in Arms
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Cane (Billy Flynn) are at odds because Billy continues to have a big issue with Jill (played recently by Lauren Koslow) and, according to Billy, her lack of faith in him. Next week, watch for the two men to put their differences aside for Jill.
