Matt Clark has pretty much terrorized the entire Newman family on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers reveal that he's going to encounter another Newman family member when Mariah meets Matt Clark on Friday, August 7, 2026. Also, Victoria and Adam work together to help Nick while Audra points Billy in the right direction.
When Mariah Met Matt
Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has claimed to be a changed man, but he's also capable of tapping back into that persona if he has to. Viewers will have to tune in to Friday's episode when Mariah (Camryn Grimes) meets Matt Clark. Did Mariah's twin, Cassie (also played by Grimes), interact with Matt when he was on his second reign of terror over 25 years ago?
Mariah has spent a lot of time working on herself, and she's appreciative of giving people a second chance. Arguably, her idea of kidnapping someone and Matt's could be two different things. But maybe they'll bond on living outside the law?
Audra and Billy
Billy (Jason Thompson) has really stepped in it by tipping Victor (Eric Braeden) off to the fact that Adam (Mark Grossman) paid Sally (Courtney Hope) to get back some Newman Media assets. Sally's not happy. Adam's not happy. Billy realized too late that he shouldn't have goaded Victor.
Perhaps Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Sally's bestie and business partner, can help. On Friday's episode, watch for Audra to point Billy in the right direction. Is it possible for Billy to smooth things over so that Victor doesn't go after Sally? That would go a long way to getting Billy and Sally's relationship back on track!

Adam has always been the black sheep of the Newman clan. However, he stepped up last year when Vicki's (Amelia Heinle) love, Cole (J. Eddie Peck), passed away. The rest of Vicki's family, except for Claire (Hayley Erin), was trapped over in Nice, France, at Cane's (Billy Flynn) estate while poor Cole was dying.
Might Vicki and Adam still be close? We're going to find out. On Friday's show, watch for Victoria and Adam to work together to help Nick. We saw Nick take a brief break from rehab to attend his parents', Victor and Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott), wedding. But he's far from being out of the woods in terms of regaining his sobriety. Will Vicki and Adam be able to help Nick?
