The Young and the Restless spoilers, February 9: Victor calls Cane's bluff

Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless, Monday, February 8, 2026, which have Victor calling Cane's bluff, Claire hiding her ulterior motives from Holden, and Victoria keeping a watchful eye on Nick.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has threatened Cane (Billy Flynn) with never seeing his family -- Lily (Christel Khalil) and their twins (Charlie, played by Noah Alexander Gerry, and Mattie, played by Lexie Stevenson) -- ever again. Phyllis has all but assured Cane that Victor's bluffing. He'd never hurt Neil's (the late Kristoff St. John) or his grandkids.

On Monday's show, watch for Victor to call Cane's bluff. While we don't see Victor hurting anyone, he may be able to convince Cane that he's going to do just that!

Suspicious minds

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) took their relationship to the next level when they were in Los Angeles last year. Since then, things haven't exactly taken off for the duo. Holden might be thinking that he and Claire could become close again as they're going back to a favorite place.

However, Claire isn't being totally forthcoming with Holden. She'd love to find out more about Audra's (Zuleyka Silver) past. Holden would likely prefer it if the two women would get along or at least stay out of each other's way. Holden might feel betrayed if he were to discover that Claire's not being on the up and up with him. Plus, he doesn't want to see Audra be hurt. Don't miss Monday's episode to see if Claire tips her hand and Holden learns the truth!

Sibling act

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Vicki Newman (Amelia Heinle) have one of the more tight sibling relationships on soaps. They've seen each other through some difficult times, including the number of times that their parents have broken up and gotten back together.

On Monday's show, watch for Victoria to keep an eye on Nick. Is it possible he's slipping into a pill addiction? Nick found some pills in his jacket pocket, which could mean that someone is trying to get him hooked on painkillers.
