Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may have spent just one night in the hospital, but his addiction issue is far from over. On Tuesday's episode, watch for Nick's dad, Victor Newman, to force Nick to face his issue.

Nick isn't in over his head just because of opioids. While understandable, his desire to make Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) pay for his crimes is a tad myopic. Perhaps Victor can cure Nick's obsession with Matt by simply turning him over to the police. That way, Nick can stop worrying about Matt and focus on his addiction.

Pregnant Pause

Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy (Jason Thompson) have so much to be happy about these days. They're expecting a baby and are getting married! We've heard the bride and groom talk about wedding planners and gowns. On Tuesday's episode, watch for Sally to discuss her pregnancy with someone else -- Adam. It wasn't all that long ago that Sally and Adam were expecting a baby.

That ended in tragedy when their daughter, Ava Hope (named after Adam's mom, Hope, played by Signy Coleman), died. The loss was devastating. Might the two have survived their daughter's passing? That question became moot when Adam cheated on Sally with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), ending not only Adam's dynamic with Sally, but also Chelsea's with Billy (Jason Thompson).

How will Adam respond to Sally moving on with her life and her and Billy's "Rainbow" baby?

Suspicious Sharon

If there's anyone who has a right to question Matt Clarke's change of heart, it's Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Matt sexually assaulted her back in the 1990s, and Nick ended up going to jail after he was wrongly convicted of Matt's shooting. (The culprit turned out to be Amy, played by Julianne Morris, whom Matt had also attacked.)

Matt had another reign of terror about 25 years ago. Last year, he caused Noah (Lucas Adams) to have a car accident that nearly took his life! He and his associate, Detective Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge), kidnapped Sienna (Tamara Braun). Matt caused Nick's car to crash, which led to his leg surgery, which led to his dependency on opioids.

Also, Matt kidnapped Sharon and Noah and left them for dead in an abandoned gas station. Why wouldn't Sharon question Matt's change of heart? She may be the first to look out for signs that he's getting his memory back. Once he does, Matt will likely go back to being the horrible person he's been all along!
