What's next on The Young and the Restless

On Thursday's all-new episode, the Newman family finally reclaimed their empire after Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) handed the company back. Despite not wanting to admit any wrongdoing, Nick (Joshua Morrow) ultimately convinced his father to admit that the emails were fabricated to force her hand. Now that Newman is firmly back in the founders' hands, Victor (Eric Braeden) can finally focus on other business at hand, including settling outstanding debts, beginning with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Friday's episode will see Victor finally making good on a promise to Lily. After she returned to Genoa City following her staged kidnapping, it was revealed that Victor promised her Chancellor in exchange for her help. However, when it came time for Lily to collect, he implored her to be patient as he still needed to use the company as leverage against Phyllis. Now that he is back in charge of Newman Enterprises, it seems like he's finally ready to sign the company over to her. While this is a significant win for Lily, this could be the final straw that destroys his marriage since Chancellor was supposed to go back to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).
Making peace in Genoa City

Phyllis did a considerable amount of damage to her life during her time as the CEO of Summers Conglomerate. Everyone begged her to return the company to Victor and put an end to the madness, but she had a death grip on the business, even to the detriment of her close relationships. One of the friendships most affected by her reign of terror was her somewhat new connection to Sharon (Sharon Case), that developed as a result of a trauma bond. Sharon was appalled that Phyllis stole Nick's (Joshua Morrow) family company from him and tried repeatedly to use her psychology degree to get inside of her head and push her toward doing the right thing.
Now that Phyllis has returned Newman to Victor and the rest of the family, Sharon gives Phyllis the benefit of the doubt, which is a sign that their friendship can still be repaired. Phyllis needs allies in Genoa City if she is ever going to recover from the damage that she did when going scorched earth. Making nice with Sharon could go a long way in fixing the wasteland that her life has become. Phyllis also risked everything by saving Nick's life, and since she did it with no obvious ulterior motives, Sharon is likely forever in her debt.
The truth is finally catching up

One of the biggest stories in Genoa City that was seemingly put on the backburner for a bit was the secret between Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Holden (Nathan Owens) about their time in Los Angeles. Although Claire (Hayley Erin) has given up her quest to uncover what really happened, it remains a mystery that will need to come out at some point. There was such a significant focus on their connection and the accidental murder of the man that was out to harm Audra, but then it was crickets. Now that Holden and Claire are getting closer once again, it seems like the show might be ready to expose the truth, which could be damaging to everyone.
This week in Genoa City is set to come to a close with Holden and Audra being forced to face their past. It is finally happening after the two have been able to escape accountability for years. There are several ways that this could come to light, but one of the most intriguing is Sienna (Tamara Braun) and her knowledge of the pair's time together in Los Angeles. The closer Noah (Lucas Adams) and Audra become again, the more Sienna might be inclined to blow up the latter's life. She holds a lot of the cards, and despite claiming that she doesn't know too much, that hasn't always felt like the complete story.
