The Young and the Restless Spoilers, June 9: Sharon keeps her distance from Matt

Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless episode airing Tuesday, as Sharon keeps her distance from Matt Clark, Malcolm and Stephanie settle unfinished business, and Noah hosts the opening of the new Shadow Room.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may be giving Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) a second chance, but that doesn't mean Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) wants to be anywhere near the man who once raped her. On Tuesday's episode, watch for Sharon to want to keep her distance from Matt Clark. The man claims to have reformed. He's got his memory back, but what if Matt reverted to his wicked ways?

Will Sharon move off the Newman estate to distance herself? If so, she might end up at the Genoa City Athletic Club, where her former mother-in-law, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), is residing.

Clearing the air

When Malcolm (Shemar Moore) was told that Stephanie's (Vivica A. Fox) son, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), was his, Malcolm wanted some answers! Why had Stephanie kept this from him, especially after Jerry, the man Stephanie married, died? Stephanie suggested putting explanations on hold until Malcolm's health was resolved.

Fortunately, Malcolm is doing much, much better! On Tuesday's episode, watch for Malcolm and Stephanie to resolve some unfinished business. Will Malcolm be as understanding as Holden has been? It appears that Stephanie might be staying on in Genoa City, but will Malcolm?

The Shadow Room debuts

Genoa City is going to start looking like Los Angeles, a little bit. Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is hosting the opening of The Shadow Room. Not all of Noah's memories of The Shadow Room in L.A. are bad. He spent some happy times with Sienna (Tamara Braun) there.

We've already seen the GC version of The Shadow Room when Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon, Sienna, and Noah confronted Matt about his past. Might The Shadow Room also bring back memories for Holden and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)? The two are hanging onto a big secret about a violent showdown that occurred in the L.A. Shadow Room. It's something that they'd both prefer remained in the past. But that might not happen now that there's a replica of The Shadow Room in their new city!
