Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is not messing around. He's given Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) her marching orders, had Jack (Peter Bergman) kidnapped and put on a yacht with his deranged (but rehabilitated, we're told) ex-wife, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).

On Monday's show, watch for Victor to continue his assertiveness when he gives Cane (Billy Flynn) a warning shot. Cane now knows that Lily (Christel Khalil) was in cahoots with Victor, so the mogul doesn't have as much leverage with him as he once did...or does he?

Some explaining to do

Lily got into bed with Victor, figuratively speaking, of course, when she agreed to let Cane think that the mogul had kidnapped her. Cane wasn't the only one who was worried about Lily, however. Lily's brother Devon (Bryton James) and her cousin Nate (Sean Dominic) were also concerned.

Now that Lily's back, Devon and Nate want answers. On Monday's show, watch for Lily to be in hot water with Devon and Nate. Lily needed to get away from Cane and his attempts to reconcile. Lily may have been thinking that if she allied herself with Victor, then Cane would finally get the message.

Nate and Devon, however, deserved to be let in on the plan. That way, they wouldn't have worried so much about Lily.

Nikki stands on business

Nikki has seen Victor behave ruthlessly in the past. Now, too many lives are at stake. Sure, Victor got what he wanted when he had Jack kidnapped and placed on a yacht with Patty. Diane (Susan Walters) showed up at the worst possible time for Jack, and now, their marriage is in trouble. But things could have gone horribly wrong given Patty's past instability.

On Monday's episode, watch for Nikki to stand on business. She's not going to stand by while her family is facing so many challenges. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has gone to Italy to try to enlist aid from Summer (Allison Lanier) to battle Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who has control over Newman Enterprises. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) are facing their own challenges in Las Vegas as they try to track down Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Someone needs to be the glue of the Newman family as this battle for control of Newman Enterprises plays out. And that person could be Nikki! Victor and Nikki made peace over the holidays late last year. Emotion won out over business at that time. Could it happen again? Nikki is a very determined woman. Nikki has been known to make things happen in the past, after all.
