Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless episode airing on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, as Nikki makes a shocking confession to Jack, Cane takes a big step with Lily, and Patty pleads her case to Billy.
Confession time on The Young and the Restless

Nikki Reed Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and her ex-husband, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), have managed to hang onto a deep friendship, unlike other divorced duos in Genoa City. In fact, Nikki has put her marriage to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on the line out of respect for Jack.
On Tuesday's episode, watch for Nikki to make a shocking confession to Jack. Might she be informing him that she's going back to Victor and will side with her husband against him? Or will Nikki's "confession" contain info that Jack can use to turn the tide in his favor?
Memory Lane

Watch for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to take a big step with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on Tuesday's episode. Cane's already stepped up by volunteering to be a bone marrow donor for Lily's biological dad, Malcolm (Shemar Moore), who has aplastic anemia.
Alas, Cane's legal problems have thrown a wrench into his freedom, keeping him from traveling to New York to have a procedure done there that will benefit Malcolm. There are options, including Malcolm coming back to Genoa City.
What big step could Cane be taking with Lily? Might they remarry? How could that affect his ability to help Malcolm?
Playing Pattycakes with Billy

Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is sticking around Genoa City, and she's determined to get Jack to notice her. To that end, watch for Patty to interact with those closest to the Abbott patriarch. On Tuesday's show, watch for Patty to plead her case to Billy (Jason Thompson).
Will her efforts make a difference, or will her request fall upon deaf ears? If anyone knows what it's like to get a second chance, it's Billy Abbott. Heck, Billy's gotten third and fourth chances, too! But Billy was there, right behind Diane (Susan Walters) when she walked in on Jack and Patty on board Victor's yacht. Billy doesn't have the emotional roadblocks that his sister-in-law has when it comes to forgiving Jack and seeing the big picture.
If Billy believes that his brother was a victim and that Patty was in cahoots with Victor, she may not stand a chance of getting Billy over to her side. Billy has every reason in the world to mistrust Victor, given how the mustache has treated him. Still, Patty can be very convincing when she wants to be!
