The Young and the Restless spoilers, May 27, 2026, reveal Lily seeing Cane in a new light, Abby making a promise to Devon, and Nick's life hanging in the balance.
What's next on The Young and the Restless

Nobody would have blamed Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) if he hadn't gotten tested to see if he was a match for his ex-father-in-law, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), who needed a bone marrow donor to battle aplastic anemia.
But Cane cares about Lily. Always has. Always will. Maybe threatening to take over all of Genoa City's businesses with an Artificial Intelligence program wasn't the way to go (you think?), but offering to help save Malcolm's life sure has gotten Lily to think of her ex more fondly.
On Wednesday's show, watch for Lily to see Cane in a new light. It wasn't all that long ago that she handed him back his rose and told him to stay far, far away. She even left town to get away from him! But now, Lily is opening her mind and quite possibly her heart to the man she once loved.
Happy husband, happy life

Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) were united like never before when their son, Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark), was kidnapped by Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who wasn't in her right mind when she took the boy away from the only family that he's ever known.
After getting Dominic back (yay!), Abby and Devon were at odds. Abby didn't want Mariah to have to go to prison for a lengthy period. Devon didn't want Mariah to be able to wander away from a mental health facility where security might not be as strong.
Devon and Mariah met in person, and they expressed their feelings to one another. However, Devon is putting the welfare of his son first. Can he ever be at peace knowing Mariah might take him again someday?
On Wednesday's show, watch for Abby to make a promise to Devon. Will she help assure him that Mariah will never get near Dominic again and give them another fright? Such a promise will help strengthen Abby and Devon's marriage.
Nick of time

Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been lying to himself and his loved ones, even after confessing to them that he has a pill addiction. Some days, he seems perfectly fine. Others, he looks like he's about to crack in half (figuratively, not literally).
Nick has pushed himself too far, and on Wednesday's show, Nick's life is hanging in the balance. How will he survive? Stay tuned to find out!
