The Young and the Restless character Noah Newman may have lost his lady love, Sienna, but, in real life, Noah's portrayer, Lucas Adams, has a new addition to his family! He and his wife, Shelby Wulfert, are proud parents of a newborn baby boy!

The Young and the Restless, it's a boy!

According to Wulfert's Instagram stories, the couple has welcomed Alonzo Brantley Adams into the world! "Our lives are forever changed," Wulfert posted along with the photo. Alonzo was born on Wednesday, February 4.

According to Soap Opera Digest, "Mama and baby are doing great!" Soap Central shared the news that Adams and Wulfert first announced they were expecting a baby last November.

"We could not be more excited about this news," Wulfert posted on Instagram last year with a photo of her and Adams in which she is clearly expecting a baby. "Oh my goodness, you two are so sweet!" posted Stephen Nichols, who plays Adams' (Tripp Johnson) TV dad Steve Johnson on Days of our Lives, and was also Tucker on Y&R. "Congratulations! Can hardly wait for baby Adams.♥️♥️♥️."

Adams's Y&R character, Noah, was born about 29 years ago. He had a rough start, as many soap opera babies do. While Noah fought for his life in his incubator, Sharon's (Sharon Case) friend, Grace Turner (Jennifer Gareis, now Donna, The Bold and the Beautiful), and her pal Tony (Nick Scotti), decided to track down Cassie (Camryn Grimes, now Mariah Copeland), hoping to bring her home to Sharon and bring her some joy if Noah didn't make it.

"Spoiler alert:" Noah survived! That prompted Grace and Tony to hold off on sharing the news with Sharon that Cassie was her daughter. Eventually, Sharon learned the truth. Nick (Joshua Morrow) came to love Cassie as his own daughter.

The couple had to go to court to battle Alice Johnson (Tamara Clatterbuck) for legal custody. Alice had adopted Cassie after Sharon gave her up shortly after birth, and just when the judge was about to award custody to Alice, Cassie's adoptive mom tearfully declared that she was going to give up her rights and let Cassie live with Sharon and Nick.

Soap Central congratulates Adams and Wulfert on their new bundle of joy!
