The Young and the Restless character Adam Newman celebrates every time Newman Media gets a scoop! Now, his portrayer, Mark Grossman, is celebrating something, too -- his birthday!
The Young and the Restless, Mark Grossman, Happy Birthday

Grossman had the daunting task of replacing not one, but two very popular performers (Michael Munhey; Justin Hartley), who played Adam Newman before he did. Grossman joined the cast in 2019 as Victor Adam Newman, the son of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Hope Adams (Signy Coleman).
Born in Columbia, Maryland, on February 3, and raised in Arizona, Grossman developed an early interest in acting when he was cast as the Beast in a school production of Beauty & the Beast.
After moving to Los Angeles, Grossman quickly amassed a series of credits on such shows and movies as Entourage, The Other Wife, Get Big, and Famous in Love.
When Adam met Sally

Adam first popped up in Vegas after being presumed dead in a cabin explosion. He was using the name "Spider," and he was soon reunited with his frenemies and family in Genoa City.
Adam has gone back and forth between Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally (Courtney Hope) while Grossman has played the part. Both women have managed, at times, to lure Adam away from his darker side.
While he was in a relationship with Sally, Adam felt drawn to his ex, Chelsea, the woman with whom he shares a son, Connor (Judah Mackey). Workwise, Adam heads up Newman Media, a company under the Newman Enterprises umbrella. The site gives Adam a platform to report on news and go after his father's enemies, which Adam did last year with a hit piece on Jabot Cosmetics.
Chelsea, at times, pushes Adam to reject his father's vendetta against the Abbott family. Devoted to Adam, Chelsea stands by him. Recently, the show re-explored Sally and Adam's dynamic by having them spend New Year's Eve together.
Sally reminded Adam that when they were together, she encouraged him to become his own man and not fall under his father's influence.
Soap Central wishes Mark Grossman a happy birthday and many happy returns!
