The Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers August 24-28: Heated Rivalries, Romance, and Reconnecting

Nikki and Victor may have reconciled, but the mustached mogul's feud with Jack doesn't show any signs of slowing down on The Young and the Restless. In addition to their ongoing rivalry, there are stories of romance and revenge going on in Genoa City, according to spoilers for episodes airing Monday,

Restless Style

Y&R is getting off to a strong start next week as Victor (Eric Braeden ) warns Jack (Peter Bergman) about crossing lines with his family. The mogul hated that Jack tried to help Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) with her troubles with alcohol. Not surprisingly, Victor is going to voice his concerns over Jack being his son, Nick's (Joshua Morrow), sponsor. Victor doesn't want Jack anywhere near anyone in his family!

Later in the week, Nick is going to open up to his father about his struggles. Can Victor respond in the same way that a recovering addict can? If not, Victor may soften his approach when it comes to Jack helping his son. That, however, is one very big "if."

The Love Boat

Jack's not going to let Victor stop him from living his best life. The Abbott patriarch and his wife, Diane (Susan Walters), are going to start their romantic getaway. The two certainly deserve a vacation, given their trials and tribulations over the last year. First, they were held against their will in Nice, France, at Cane's estate. Sure, the amenities were upscale, but they had trouble leaving!

Then, the Abbotts got caught up in the AI war between Cane (Billy Flynn) and Victor. This year, both Jack and Diane were kidnapped, and Jack was stabbed by Patty (Stacy Haiduk!). Will Jack and Diane's vacation be bliss or will they face another hurdle?

When Matt Visited Patty

During Patty's (Stacy Haiduk) last reign of terror in Genoa City, she tried to enlist Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) as an ally, as he was one of the few people who didn't know just how deadly she could be!

There have been references to Patty having been locked away, but she's set to make an appearance this week when Matt reconnects with Patty towards the end of the week.
