When a crisis occurs, people will put their feud on hold for the sake of a greater good or a loved one. That's what's going to happen next week when Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki put their differences aside to help their son, Nick (Joshua Morrow), who is still trying to kick his addiction to pain pills.

Victor's going to question Nick's judgement next week, and he may realize that he and Nikki will have to team up to keep their son from going down a dark path. As the week comes to a close, watch for Nikki to stand her ground. She'll do anything for her family, even if it means putting aside her concerns about Victor and how he's been treating Jack (Peter Bergman).

Some relationships that seem damaged forever may not be. Watch for Sharon (Sharon Case) to give unsolicited advice to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). There was a time when these two couldn't be in the same room together. Then, their kidnapping ordeal last year bonded the two forever. They will never be besties, but it's possible that when Sharon gives Phyllis something to think about, she'll actually think about it!

Also, watch for Daniel (Michael Graziadei) to try to broker a truce between Phyllis and Cricket (Lauralee Bell). The ethical district attorney has sworn that she's following the law. The charges against Phyllis are not personal. But could Daniel's efforts lead to the case against his mom being dismissed?

Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) has nearly everything she's ever wanted as she's expecting a baby, and Billy (Jason Thompson) has proposed marriage. But is Billy truly ready to become a father and a husband again? Watch for Sally to worry about Billy's past catching up with him!
