The Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers, May 25 to 29: Pills, prognosis, and a past imperfect

Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless for the week of Monday, May 35, to Friday, May 29, 2026, as Lily sees Cane in a new light, Victor and Nikki force Nick to face his issues, and Monday's classic episode reminds viewers that the Newmans have had conflicts with Phyllis in the past.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) continue to face big challenges as next week's stories continue. There's some good news for the Newmans as Victor manages to get some leverage against Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). No one is likely ever going to tell Phyllis that her theft of Newman Enterprises from Victor was legal. She can go on and on as much as she wants about how Victor has pulled similar stunts, but those were likely immoral or unethical -- not illegal.

On a personal front, Victor's got a lot more to worry about. His son, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), is still trying to kick his drug addiction. Watch for the mogul to make a shocking decision to try to help Nick. By week's end, Victor and Nikki will unite long enough, at least, to force Nick into realizing he has a problem.

Malcolm (Shemar Moore) has been getting treatment, mostly off-camera, for his aplastic anemia. Watch for Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), Malcolm's former girlfriend, doctor, and the mother of his son, Holden (Nathan Owens), to get some news about Malcolm's condition. Might we actually see Moore and Malcolm on our screens?

The week kicks off with a classic episode that originally aired on July 3, 2019. A highlight of the rebroadcast will feature the character of Dr. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), Devon's former girlfriend.
