The Young and the Restless: Y&R Fall Preview Spoilers: Victor, Victories, Phyllis's Choice, Billy and Sally's Wedding, and More

The Young and the Restless celebrates its anniversary in March, but the show has another important date, according to CBS. On Thursday, October 8, the show continues its 54th season, and its 37th season as Daytime's #1 drama on CBS. There's plenty of drama on the horizon with the Newmans, Abbotts, Winterses, Phyllis Summers, and their friends and foes as the show heads into the fall season!

Victor's on the Attack

According to a preview and spoilers released by the network, fans can expect to see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stop at nothing to protect his family, taking decisive control of the situation with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) while refusing to allow anything to threaten Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) sobriety.

Watch for Victor to present Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) with an intriguing business opportunity that could serve as an ulterior motive to cause havoc for his nemesis, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Also, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) finally scores a win, but her victory forces her to decide who she truly wants in her life. Will she have to choose between Matt and the other people in her life?

Lovebirds Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) will have to go to great lengths to keep their casual affair a secret. Victor has shown his disdain for Kyle when he's been involved with other members of his family. How will he take it when he learns that Kyle has been intimate with his daughter?

Is Kyle using Vicki? Is she using him? How will their agendas change if they fall fully in love with one another?

The Doctors Are In

Additionally, Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) supports Nate (Sean Dominic) as he pursues a return to medicine. Might some of the drama on Y&R shift to Genoa City Memorial once there's more than one doctor on the canvas?

Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Billy Flynn) mix business with pleasure when they team up to fight Billy’s (Jason Thompson) attempt to gain control of Chancellor Industries. Could they be headed down the aisle once again?

Speaking of weddings, with theirs fast approaching, Billy has little time to give Sally (Courtney Hope) the support she needs, and the pressure is mounting. Sally's expecting Billy's baby. She had a scare recently, thinking that she was going into early labor, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Will she tie the knot with the father of her baby before he or she is born?

Sally McDonald is Y&R's executive producer. Jamey Giddens and Dan O'Connor are the co-head writers. The long-running series was created by the late William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell.
