A New Friend
We've seen Nick go through a series of fantasy scenes (we know they're fantasy because they're in black and white), but now, Nick is entering a new chapter as he's met a mystery woman, played by Jade Harlow.
Has Nick encountered someone who's going to help him get on the road to recovery, or will she take him down a dark path to where his addiction gets even worse? Sometimes it's easier to befriend a stranger when you're going through a hard time. But can Nick truly trust this newcomer? Or should he stick to his loved ones to help him get back on track with his sobriety?
Cane Is Able
Cane (Billy Flynn) right away saw through Billy's (Jason Thompson) latest scheme. He's gotten boxes of paperwork out of storage, hoping to get to the bottom of a mystery at Chancellor Industries. Shouldn't Billy let sleeping dogs lie? If this secret hasn't come to light in all these decades, maybe it's best if it remains buried.
Billy played with fire recently when he rubbed in Victor's (Eric Braeden) face that Sally (Courtney Hope) came out on top with the return of the Newman Media assets. Now, Billy has a mess to clean up. When is he going to realize that it's best to let things remain untouched? There's too much potential for damage!
But Billy is one to act first and then think about his actions later, right? Watch for Bily to sit down with Jack and Kyle (Michael Mealor).
Also, watch for Kyle to see Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in a new light. She's got to be deeply concerned for the well-being of her brother, Nick. Might Kyle be there to support Victoria during a vulnerable moment in her life?
Devon's Decision
Devon (Bryton James) has been unhappy about his sister, Lily (Christel Khalil), who has reconciled with Cane both personally and professionally. He's also not thrilled about Lily wanting to help Holden (Nathan Owens) get a job.
But is this truly what's bothering Devon? He's been frustrated that he and Abby (Melissa Ordway) haven't seen eye to eye on how Mariah (Camryn Grimes) should be dealt with by the judicial system over her role in kidnapping Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark).
