This week, watch for the Abbotts to band together to remain united as a family on The Young and the Restless. Also, watch for Nikki's health condition to bring the Newman family together. Brave New Worlds
Diane (Susan Walters) is wondering if there's a connection between her captor, Laurence Markham (Jere Burns), and Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins), the man who held Sharon (Sharon Newman) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) captive last year.
Diane suspects that Martin might not give her the time of day, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't talk to anyone else in the Abbott clan. Traci (Beth Maitland) had her heart broken by Martin when he impersonated his late brother, Alan (also played by Cousins).
Watch for Traci to volunteer to speak to Martin on Diane's behalf. Traci's had over a year to mend her heart, but is it possible she'll still be vulnerable to Martin's charms? He made Traci feel that she was worthy of love and that love had found her once again. Traci may have trouble being near Martin because he hurt her!
Finding Out What's True
There's an irony that Nikki is having vision issues and may be blind permanently, as her and Victor's love song is "Through the Eyes of Love," performed so beautifully by both Melissa Manchester and Patty Weaver (who plays Gina).
This week, watch for Nikki to receive news about her health. Also, Victor is going to make a promise to Nikki. Will he vow to stay by her side no matter what happens to her? Or will he lay down some kind of ultimatum as his hatred of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) seems to, at times, be greater than his love for Nikki?
We guess that Victor is going to put Nikki and her well-being first. He's been devastated by her being in such pain. Ironically, Nikki hasn't been able to look at Victor to know that he's in agony and that he cares about her so much.
Secrets and Lies
Jill (Lauren Koslow) seemed fine on her last visit to Genoa City when she did her best to get Billy (Jason Thompson), her son with the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), and her stepson, Cane (Billy Flynn), with the late Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), on the same page.

She's gone back to England after asking Billy to go with her. This week, watch for Billy and Sally to discover that Jill is keeping a secret. Has she been secretive about her health? Her brother, Snapper (David Hasselhoff), is a doctor, and she's been spending time with him in London. Is Jill staying close to Snapper because he's her brother? Or because he's her doctor, because she's facing a health crisis?
How will Billy respond when he discovers that his mother has been keeping a secret from him? Speaking of Cane, watch for him to strike a hard bargain! Is he reverting to his old ways, wanting to bring the elite of the Genoa City business world to its knees?
