Nikki Newman was hoping to get her vision back on The Young and the Restless last week. That didn't happen, and, according to spoilers for the week of Monday, July 27, 2026, through Friday, July 31, Nikki's health is going to take a turn — but is it for the better or worse? Check out the scoop on that story and more in this week's Y&R Hot Plots feature!
Please, Don't Let This Feeling End

Watch for the walls to close in on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) early in the week as the beloved heroine continues to struggle with her condition. Her doctor told her that just because she didn't get her vision back when he took her bandages off, it didn't mean that her sight wouldn't return.
By mid-week, watch for Nikki's health to take an unexpected turn. Does this mean she'll be getting her eyesight back, or will she learn for certain that it's not coming back at all? There's also Nikki's MS (multiple sclerosis) to consider. Perhaps that's flaring up, and she'll be facing a battle unrelated to her eye condition.
At the end of the week, watch for Victor and Nikki to agree to a fresh start. Does this mean they will renew their commitment to one another as husband and wife? Or does this mean that one of them will leave the ranch and move into the Genoa City Athletic Club?
Adam and Evil

Adam (Mark Grossman) is trying to do the right thing by giving his ex, Sally (Courtney Hope), a break with Spectra-Charles. Victor (Eric Braeden) wants the assets belonging to Newman Media, currently under the umbrella of Spectra-Charles, returned to him. Adam has agreed to buy the assets, so Sally doesn't take a hit. He wants to make it easy on the woman on whom he cheated.
Victor may or may not be touched by Adam's idea, but business is business, after all! At the beginning of the week, watch for Victor to hold both Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) accountable for their actions.
Will Victor squash Adam's generous deal with Sally? Or will he give the redhead a pass and make Adam pay instead?
Lies and More Lies

Watch for Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally to keep secrets from one another. How can there be trust between them if neither is being honest?
Speaking of relationships that may not be completely honest, watch for Abby (Melissa Ordway) to confide in Daniel (Michael Graziadei), one of her past loves. Abby and Devon (Bryton James) have conflicted over Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and the price she should pay for kidnapping Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark).
Abby has already reached out to her mom, Ashley (Eileen Davidson), for some help. How might Devon respond to learn that Abby is confiding in Daniel?
Sharon (Sharon Case) is trying to support her ex, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), as he is fighting an addiction to painkillers. But she may not be able to do this alone. Watch for Sharon to bring her and Nick's son, Noah (Lucas Adams), into the loop regarding Nick's setback.
