The Newman World Turns
This week, watch for Victor (Eric Braeden) to give Adam (Mark Grossman) some unsolicited advice. Victor's son is at a crossroads and has been feeling all kinds of emotions since he helped bring Sally's (Courtney Hope) daughter, Ruby, into the world. Is Adam ready to handle his emotions? Maybe he should see another past love (Sharon, played by Sharon Case), a trained therapist, so that he can work out his issues.
Beyond Genoa City
Devon (Bryton James) has visited Fairmont Crest, the setting for Beyond the Gates, in the past. His role in the music world has brought him to see Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), a member of The Articulettes. This week, watch for Devon and Lily (Christel Khalil) to plan a trip to CBS's sister soap opera. Will it be a quick visit? And when will members of BTG come to Y&R and appear on that show?
Business Hurdles
The action in Genoa City is shifting to the hospital now that Nate (Sean Dominic) is on his way to getting his career back as a surgeon. We don't know for sure that Nate's hand will be repaired enough for him to confidently operate on patients, but all signs are looking in a positive direction!
This week, watch for Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) to find her authority at work being questioned! Is she going to ensure that Nate returns to the hospital with privileges to work there as a doctor? Nate's known for not only having incredible compassion for his patients, but also for being very skilled at being a doctor. Nate's clearly an asset to Genoa City Memorial. Let's hope that everyone feels the same way that Stephanie does! If not, Nate could find himself back at Winters, Inc., helping Lily run the late Neil's (Kristoff St. John) company.
Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to set the stage for a competition with Diane (Susan Walters). Diane has felt, in some ways, that the two are already in a battle. What battle is that? To earn Jack's (Peter Bergman) attention, of course!

Diane would like nothing more than for Nikki to find a new best friend and also a new mentor for when she has questions about the cosmetics world. Diane sees Nikki as a threat, and we could see her passing on a proposed competition just so that she doesn't have to interact with her rival!
