Sally and Billy are still facing lots of conflict, even though they're finally getting married on The Young and the Restless. Hot Plots for the week of October 19 to 23, 2026, tease trouble ahead for the newlyweds. Other spoilers, provided to Soap Central by the show's publicity department, include Lily gets a health update, and Nikki has a change of heart!
Wedding Belle Blues

Some soap opera weddings are called off at the last minute for one reason or another, but all signs point to Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy (Jason Thompson) exchanging "I do's" this week on Y&R.
While marriage sometimes means death (meaning that a couple will head to the back of the stove top, because they no longer have conflict), we don't see Sally and Billy headed in that direction. Watch for Cane (Billy Flynn) to share some distressing news with Billy. Is it about Billy's mother, Jill (Jess Walton), who is Cane's stepmother?
Later in the week, watch for Billy and Sally to face their first challenge as a married couple. Billy has already promised to love and honor Sally till they are parted by death; however, he's going to make another promise to her later in the week.
Might Lauren (Tracey Bregman) help the newlyweds out with Jill? Lauren is, after all, Jill's half-sister. Perhaps she can be of aid to Billy and Sally in this time of need!
Cane Is Able

Last week, we saw Lily (Christel Khalil) share with Traci (Beth Maitland) her confiding in Cane that she received some medical test results that indicate her cancer could be returning. She'll have Cane to lean on this week as her results come in. Is Lily facing a return of her cancer? Or will she and Cane celebrate that Lily's in good health?
Either way, Lily knows that Cane will stand by her. He's proven himself time and time again since coming back to Genoa City. Lily just might line up to catch that wedding bouquet after all!
Nikki Has Second Thoughts

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has had numerous rivals in Genoa City over the years. Her sparring partner these days is Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). While Nikki should be keeping plans for Vibrante a secret, she has checked in with Jack (Peter Bergman) on a few occasions to pick his brain, even though he runs Vibrante's rival company, Jabot Cosmetics.
Nikki and Diane have traded barbs recently, as Diane has made it clear she's not fond of Nikki being so chummy with her husband. This week, watch for Nikki to have a change of heart about a rival. Will Nikki refrain from visiting Jack to make Diane feel better? Or is Nikki going to rethink another relationship she has?
What challenge will Billy and Sally face? Will Cane and Lily celebrate some good news? Are Diane and Nikki going to call a truce? Sound off in the comments section!
