The festivities involving Sally and Adam's wedding continue on The Young and the Restless. However, spoilers from the show's publicity team, provided to Soap Central, reveal that there's some serious trepidation among the merriment! Will Sally and Billy jump immediately into drama on the Tuesday, October 20, 2026, episode?
A Call from Snapper

Sally's (Courtney Hope) water breaking at the end of Monday's episode is just the beginning of the drama headed into Tuesday's show. We also saw in Monday's episode that Snapper (David Hasselhoff) informed Billy (Jason Thompson) that his mother, Jill (Jess Walton), was in the hospital, following a cardiac episode.
On the happiest day of his life, Billy is now worried about his mother and her mortality. Jill has family abroad with her brother and likely other family members. However, Jill's son, Billy, and her surrogate son and stepson, Cane (Billy Flynn), her half-sister, Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and her longtime friends, including the Abbott clan, are thousands of miles away in Genoa City.
Billy may be torn between wanting to fly to his mother's side and being by his wife's side now that her water has broken! Sally has insisted on not missing her own wedding reception, but she may not have a choice.
It's too bad that Nate (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) didn't make the guest list. A doctor on the scene could be just the person necessary in case Sally delivers at the reception!
The Guest Who Wouldn't Leave

The wedding drama isn't the only dynamic unfolding in Genoa City on Tuesday. Watch for Nick (Joshua Morrow) to force Sharon (Sharon Case) to make a tough decision. Sharon has it in her head that she might be able to help Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), the man who raped her and tried to kill members of her family on more than one occasion.
Nick has addressed his hero complex. Maybe it's time that Sharon addressed hers? There's no way that she should try to aid her former attacker with regaining (gaining?) his mental health. Matt has been a criminal since he was a teenager.
He keeps getting hit in the head, which has led to revelations. Perhaps Matt should find a therapist with whom he has zero history if he wants to move forward successfully.
Will Billy rush to London to be with Jill or stay by Sally's side as she's gone into labor? Can Nick convince Sharon to distance herself from Matt? Sound off in the comments section!
