Cole Howard may be gone, but he's not forgotten on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for the Thursday, July 16th episode, show Vicki and Claire honoring the late Cole's memory, Victor playing hardball with Spectra-Charles, and Nikki being concerned about Nick's sobriety.
Cole Will Never Be Forgotten
Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) had been away from Genoa City for many years. Evil Aunt Jordan's (Colleen Zenk) plan to attack the Newmans, using Claire (Hayley Erin), brought the author back into the lives of the Newmans. Cole and Vicki (Amelia Heinle) not only reunited with their daughter, but they also reunited with each other.
Cole and Victoria were rebuilding their romantic life together when he became ill. Cole got better, but then he got worse, and he died. This was a little bit over a year ago. On Thursday's show, watch for Vicki and Claire to remember Cole.
Sock It To Me
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was bemused by Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) asking him to lay off Spectra-Charles, the company that once had elements of Newman Media in it.
On Thursday's show, watch for Victor to play hardball with Spectra-Charles. Victor's certainly an enigma. You can never tell what he's going to do next. He actually gave Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) Arabesque, Cane's (Billy Flynn) old company, despite the unethical way Phyllis had grabbed control of Newman Enterprises for months. How will Billy respond when he learns that Victor is attempting to attack Sally, especially now that she's carrying his baby?
The Nick of Time
Nikki Newman (Meldoy Thomas Scott) has her own physical health to worry about while she waits to find out if her operation is going to restore her sight. However, Nikki has more than her own health on her mind. On Thursday's show, watch for Nikki to be concerned about her son, Nick's (Joshua Morrow) sobriety.
Nikki has faced her own dependency with alcohol in the past. It's something she needs to be conscious of at all times. So, Nikki knows better than anyone what Nick, who is battling a painkiller addiction, is going through.
