Nick Newman pretty much has nowhere to go but up on The Young and the Restless. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has talked a lot about getting well, but he's not taking the right actions. He holed up in a motel room and hooked up with Marie (Jade Harlow), someone who has addiction issues herself. Does having someone in your life who is also an addict make things better? Worse? Is there no difference at all?
Nick's not going to do better until he hits rock bottom. On Wednesday's episode, watch for him to do exactly that. Will he reach out for help now? Will he try to get help for Marie, too?
Oh, Boy, Billy
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) gave Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a job at Chancellor Industries, hoping they could move forward in a new direction, one filled with less conflict. Oops. No. Instead, Billy is using his access at Chancellor Industries to unearth some old files, hoping to uncover a secret that his mother, Jill, referred to.
Cane has tried to dissuade Billy from traveling on this fool's errand. But once Billy gets myopic of something, it's best to just get out of his way. On Wednesday's episode, watch for Cane to talk to Jack (Peter Bergman) about Billy's latest obsession. Cane may be thinking that if he can't get through to Cane as his stepbrother, perhaps Jack, as Billy's blood brother, can make some headway.

After Nate (Sean Dominic) injured his hand in a fight with Devon (Bryton James), he took a break from medicine and he entered the world of business.
