The honeymoon is over for Victor and Nikki as they share their concerns about Nick on Thursday, August 12, 2026, on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for that day also indicate Billy sharing a secret with Jack and Kyle.
The Nick of Time
We saw Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reach out to Sharon (Sharon Case), following Marie's (Jade Harlow) near-death experience in the motel room after they'd had sex. Has he truly hit rock bottom? Is he going to finally seek help, knowing that someone almost died because of him?
On Thursday's episode, watch for Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to share their concerns about Nick. Will we see the recently remarried (AKA a vow renewal) supercouple in Italy, where they're enjoying yet another honeymoon?
Or will Victor and Nikki come back to Genoa City in order to be there for their son? Or are they just coming back today anyway? Victor and Nikki will be unhappy that Nick has fallen off the wagon, but they're likely going to be relieved that Nick is going to get the help he needs.
But what about Marie? Has Nick seen the last of her? The last thing she wanted Nick to do was call for help, but he felt compelled to do it anyway.
Abbott Communications
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) isn't in the communications business anymore, as he's not a part of Spectra Charles (the company that combined Abbott Communications with Newman Media). However, he still has some news to share.
On Thursday's episode, watch for Billy to share some news with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Has Billy already discovered the secret that Jill alluded to that exists within Chancellor Industries? If so, is he going to share it with his father and his nephew?
