The Abbotts may be entering a whole new level of power on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for the episode airing on Monday, August 17, 2026, have Jack sharing a secret with Ashley and Traci, Billy doubling down with Cane and Lily, and Stephanie going the extra mile to help Nate.
The Secret Sharer

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was skeptical about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who is fairly certain that the Abbotts own Chancellor Industries due to an unpaid loan that John Abbott (the late Jerry Douglas) made to Phillip Chancellor II (the late Donnelly Rhodes) decades ago.
On Monday's episode, watch for Jack to share a secret with Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland). It's likely to be about Billy's theory that John Abbott's heirs own Chancellor Industries. But do either of Jack's sisters have an interest in working at the late Katherine Chancellor's (Jeanne Cooper) company?
Traci's a novelist who rarely takes a seat at the Jabot boardroom. Ashley is working on her mental health in Paris. Are either of them going to change their lives to step up and assume a leadership role at Chancellor Industries if the family truly is the rightful owner?
It's So Rich It's GOT to Be Fattening

Billy believes that he's been passed over too many times in life. He's taken a lot of grief from Victor (Eric Braeden) over the years. He also feels as if his mother, Jill, has favored Cane (Billy Flynn) over him for years. Billy felt betrayed when Jill sold Chancellor out from under him.
Now, Billy believes that he's got the inside dirt on why he's been passed over by Jill. She wanted to keep secret that the Abbotts owned Chancellor, and if Billy were at Chancellor, then he'd find out why.
On Monday's episode, watch for Billy to double with Cane and Lily (Christel Khalil). The two reunited lovebirds may believe that they're in charge, but Billy sees a path to becoming Chancellor's king, and he's going to take it!
The Doctor Is In

Nate (Sean Dominic) has wanted to get back into medicine, even though Devon (Bryton James) has handed the business reins over to Nate and Lily. Of course, leaving the business world isn't just about turning in his resignation. If Nate wants to get back into the medical world, he's going to need some help. He'll need to make sure that his hand is healed 100% so that he can go back to performing surgery.
On Monday's episode, watch for Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), Genoa City Memorial's latest chief of staff, to go the extra mile for Nate. Will she help him secure a position at the hospital or make sure he gets the right help for his injured hand?
