Nick may have forgotten a thing or two while he was under the influence of opioids on The Young and the Restless, but not everything. Spoilers for Monday, August 31, 2026, have Nck igiving Phyllis a chilly warning. Meanwhile, Victor gives Victoria his blessing to attack Jabot, and Stephanie charms Nate.
The Ex-Wives Club

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) may have helped save Nick's (Joshua Morrow) life after he succumbed to an overdoes in his father's office at Newman Enterprises. She also shares a daughter, Summer, with Nick, but that doesn't mean that she and Nick are getting along these days.
Earlier this year, Nick blasted Phyllis, telling her that if she was serious about taking his father, Victor's (Eric Braeden), company by using Cane's (Billy Flynn) AI program, then he'd never forgive her. And he meant it! Now, Phyllis has allied herself with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), a man whom Phyllis says has changed. You know, changed from all the heinous evil things that he used to do.
On Monday's episode, watch for Nick to give Phyllis a chilly reception. He's not going to take kindly to her support of Matt, and Phyllis's considerable charms will have to work overtime to get Nick to simmer down!
Victor, Victorious

Sure, Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have reconciled, but that doesn't mean that he's given up his quest to attack the Abbotts. On Monday's episode, Victor is going to give Victoria his blessing to attack Jabot Cosmetics. But why would Vicki want to do that given her newfound relationship with Kyle (Michael Mealor).
Is Victoria going to double-cross Kyle, despite the fact that they've been intimate? Does Kyle have plans to hurt Victoria to payback her father for his crimes against the Abbotts? Or might Victoria and Kyle fall for each other along the way?
Bedside Manner

On Monday's show, watch for Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) to charm Nate (Sean Dominic), the son of her old pal, Dr. Olivia Hastings (Tonya Lee Williams).
Stephanie has been extremely helpful to the Winters/Hastings clan since she returned to Genoa City following a roughly 30-year absence! First, she helped Malcolm (Shemar Moore), her former love, and the father of her son, Holden (Nathan Owens), get treatment for his aplastic anemia.
Stephanie also helped facilitate the right surgeon coming to Genoa City to help Nikki regain her sight. Now, Stehpanie is going to charm Nate, who wants to become a doctor again. Will Nate's surgery to repair the damage he sustained to his hand in a fight with Devon (Bryton James) be successful?
If so, Nate might end up joining Stephanie at Genoa City Memorial, and once again, Y&R would have a doctor (or two) on the canvas to help out with medical maladies that tend to pop up on soap operas!
