After weeks of harrowing tension involving Patty's reign of terror, the Abbotts can breathe for a spell on The Young and the Restless. What's keeping them occupied? Spoilers for Monday, July 13, 2026, indicate that Billy will commiserate with Kyle, Diane will sit vigil at Jack's bedside, and Lauren will reminisce with Ashley and Traci. However, we suspect it won't be long before the characters are embroiled in conflict once again!
Commiserating with Kyle
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have more in common with each other than being Abbotts. Both have suffered the wrath of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Billy has endured Victor's wrath since he was Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) husband.
Victor didn't think Kyle was good enough for either of his granddaughters -- Summer (Allison Lanier) or Claire (Hayley Erin). While Jack certainly has the longest feud with Victor, Kyle and Billy have little to say about the man, too!
Is Victor the topic of conversation between Kyle and Billy? Or are the two men going to talk about something else?
Beside Manner
Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman) have been apart for quite some time (their time together on Beyond the Gates notwithstanding). We saw at the end of last week Patty (Stacy Haiduk) being taken into custody, and Jack and Diane sharing an emotional reunion.
However, Jack and Diane may not be out of the woods medically yet! Sure, he's come out of his coma, and she was treated for the digitalis injection that Patty gave her, but there's always the possibility of setbacks.
On Monday's episode, watch for Diane to sit vigil at Jack's bedside. Will her love for him -- and his for her -- help the couple get back to total health?

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) isn't rushing out of Genoa City just yet, now that she's back in town. The chemist returned home after finding out that Jack had been stabbed and was in the hospital.
On Monday's show, watch for Lauren (Tracey Bregman) to reminisce with Traci (Beth Maitland) and Ashley. The three women have known each other for a long time and have much in common, including love affairs or marriages to the late Brad Carlton (Don Diamont, now Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful). Watch for these three to look back on some happy times.
