On Tuesday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki Newman appeared to be having a series of fantasy scenes, and she also told Victor that she could see him! Has her vision returned, or is she merely fantasizing? Spoilers for Wednesday, July 29, have Nikki's health taking an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Billy gives Adam the third degree, and things heat up between Cane and Lily.
Through the Eyes of Love

Assuming that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) truly was seeing Victor (Eric Braeden) in Tuesday's episode, her health taking an unexpected turn indicates that it's a turn for the better! Nikki's been putting on a brave front (with understandable moments of frustration) during her ordeal. Getting her eyesight back will open up a whole new world. She'll be able to decide what her next move might be.
Will Nikki move back to the Genoa City Athletic Club? Or will she remain on the Newman ranch? Will she return to their bedroom and resume her life as Victor's wife? Nikki will likely be thrilled to share her happy news with her children, Victoria (Amelia Heinel) and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), and her other loved ones.
Cane Ashby V. Billy Abbott

Billy's (Jason Thompson) last encounter with Jill (which took place off-camera) served as a reminder that the man is not going to get over his feelings of resentment towards Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Billy loathes that Jill holds Cane in a higher regard.
Now, Billy has it in his head that there's a secret within Chancellor Industries, and he's determined to get to the bottom of it. On Wednesday's show, watch for Billy to give Cane the third degree. Is he going to grill him over the supposed secret? Or will Cane come forward with information that will prompt Billy to rethink his plan?
Memory Lane

Why Victor sees Cane as a threat is unclear. The man is hardly a danger these days, as he no longer has the AI program. Cane's got a job, running Chancellor Industries, and, most importantly, he and Lily are getting along great these days.
That's what Cane has wanted more than anything! And he has it! On Wednesday's show, watch for things to heat up for Cane and Lily! She was softening to Cane a bit even before he stepped up and provided bone marrow to Malcolm (Shemar Moore).
Could there be a remarriage coming down the line for Cane and Lily? Cane would surely like that to happen, we guess. Perhaps if the two were to walk down the aisle, we'd see the return of their children, Mattie and Charlie. Also, there's the matter of Cane's love child, Sam, with the deceased Juliet Allen (Laur Allen). Where has he been all this time?
