A Toast to the Future
Phyllis Summers, played by Michelle Stafford, last seen at the bar at the Genoa City Athletic Club, is going to toast to her future with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Phyllis and Matt have bonded over the fact that they're both outcasts among the Newmans, Abbotts, and other families in town.
Matt has done some horribly criminal things to the Newman clan, and yet he's still walking around free. Phyllis ran over Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Paul (Doug Davidson) with a rental car, yet didn't have to go to jail for that. Phyllis and Matt are united in many ways.
On Thursday's show, watch for Phyllis and Matt to look to the future. Will they become Genoa City's next power couple?
Cane Is Able
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Billy Flynn) resumed their physical relationship this week. Are they ready to get married again? Maybe not. The duo likely still has a lot to work out. It's possible that Devon (Bryton James) will not look fondly upon his sister, whom he loves, getting back together with her ex-husband.
On Thursday's show, watch for Lily to set boundaries with Cane. What will those boundaries be? Perhaps she'll want to keep their newfound relationship quiet. Or maybe she won't want him to at least tell their kids, Charlie and Mattie? Tune in to find out!
Daniel, My Pal
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) has a habit of finding women in distress. Last year, he connected with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) after the death of his beloved Heather (Vail Bloom). Daniel and Tessa started out playing the guitar together, and fell for each other.

Now, Daniel is going to come upon Abby( Melissa Ordway), who is not getting along with her husband, Devon (Bryton James). The two have disagreed on how Mariah (Camryn Grimes) should be dealt with following her kidnapping of their son, Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark).
Will Daniel get burned again in love if he opens his heart up to Abby? We're getting ahead of ourselves. Maybe the two will just become pals. Or maybe Daniel gets his heart pureed into little teeny, tiny pieces. Again. Stay tuned.
